Intentionally engaging in community is essential for all people, especially believers. We live in a time and culture where individualism, disconnectedness and ultimately isolation reign supreme. Though our lives are increasingly people-less, our hardwired need for connections pine away deep within our souls. Throughout Proverbs 27 we see Solomon describe some amazing benefits to living in community. As we take a walk through this chapter, contemplate how you too can apply the wisdom of intentional engagement in our spiritual community for the greater purpose of participating with us as our we reach our community for Christ. Although wisdom is crying out in the street to be found by those who will listen, not everyone will listen its cry. Similarly, not all who listen will apply wisdom.
