  • Scripture: Proverbs 8
  • Although wisdom is crying out in the street to be found by those who will listen, not everyone will listen its cry. Similarly, not all who listen will apply wisdom. And though some apply wisdom, not all will make right choices. In Proverbs 8 Solomon presents a case for wisdom. He doesn't necessarily put wisdom on trial, but he defends the need for us to get wisdom so we can receive favor from the Lord. As we read this text, take note of the clear thought process that Solomon presents in his speech. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson teaches how to find wisdom and receive favor from the Lord.

  • Most of us have been impacted by the ripple effect from divorce. Your parents may have been divorced, you might have been divorced, you might remember when your best friend's parents got a divorce. Sometimes parents can be loving in the midst of the battle, and other times it gets ugly. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson opens the Bible to Proverbs 5 and looks at what Solomon has to say about adultery. Solomon does a fantastic job explaining how adultery starts with conversations, wandering eyes, and neglecting your home. From his words we learn that marriages thrive when couples are committed to being honest, faithful, and vulnerable.

In Proverbs 4 he writes three points of instruction for his son to follow. The last point is so important that he asks his son to pay attention, just in case he had forgotten about the importance of his words. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson teaches about the urgency of gaining wisdom and how Scripture will guide our life.

  • Scripture: Proverbs 2
  • Much of our lives hang on the words we speak and the words spoken to us. In Proverbs 2, the entire chapter hangs on one small word, “if”. If we listen to wisdom, if we call out for wisdom, if we cry aloud for understanding, if we will seek wisdom. Solomon continues to share the benefits that wisdom will have in our life such as saving us from criminal activity and adulterous relationships. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson shares how wisdom will protect us if we allow it to.

Summer can be a time where people take a break from things - including growing spiritually.  Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson kicks off our brand new summer series through the Proverbs, and commit to growing spiritually with us during this season.

  • Scripture:
  • The drama in the love story of Ruth is about to thicken. While grabbing dinner one night, Naomi essentially tells Ruth it’s time to stop mourning the loss of her husband and move on with her life. Typical of Ruth, she is obedient and does all Naomi asks her to do. This leads to a night-time proposal in one of the most unlikely locations of all! But the tension isn’t over! Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson teaches about how God blesses our obedience from Ruth 3.
