Proverbs 29:18 says: “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (KJV). Vision can be defined as “the state to be able to see or the ability to plan for the future with imagination or wisdom.” At Coastline we like to take one Sunday a year to specifically focus on the vision of our church. This vision is a big dream that requires us to trust in a big God and work together in unity. None of us can accomplish it alone – it requires each of us to play a unique role in God’s kingdom for God’s glory. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson teaches from Luke 15 and shares our new vision.
Every organization needs a mission and vision explaining the what we’re going to do and the why behind that. But the interesting thing is that the church is an organism and not an organization. God has called us to be a living, active, body of believers on mission together. The mission of Coastline is helping people find and follow Jesus. Our vision is to reach people who feel far from God, experience life change, and build community. What you are going to hear this morning is a big dream that requires us to trust in a big God, and work together in unity. Grab a Bible and open it up to Matthew 7 as we learn about how Coastline is a safe place to learn about God. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson shares the mission and vision of Coastline.
Today is a special morning for Coastline. We’re taking a break from our regular sermon series to put our God-Sized vision back in front of us. With the recent events in our world it is easy to forget about the call of all followers of Jesus. The aim of Vision Sunday is to realign Coastline with the vision of our church. If today is your first morning at Coastline this might be the best day in the life of this church to have this as your first day. Our vision is to reach people who feel far from God, experience life change, and build community. What you are going to hear this morning is a big dream, that requires us trusting in a big God, and working together in unity. Listen in as Pastor Neal Benson shares the vision of Coastline.
