Before His ascension Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) and to be His witnesses, empowered by the Holy Spirit, “in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8, ESV). At Coastline our desire is to actively participate in the advance of the gospel through word and deed in our own “Jerusalem” (local community), our “Judea and Samaria” (region/nation), and worldwide. As a church, we dedicate ten percent of our annual income to partnering financially with gospel-centered ministries and missionaries around the globe. Coastline members also engage with the Great Commission through a variety of service opportunities, from right here in Ventura to the “end of the earth.”
